“You got it. Ignorant is the word. France and later the US had trained these ignorant people to serve them. Their job is sniffing out their people who is against their masters, communist or not. They would call anyone opposes foreign domiation “communist” and jail and kill them. That’s why they didn’t have any support from the population. That’s why when the US run, they had to run too. The Saigon regime didn’t even have the support of its own soldiers, that’s why it took only 55 days for the North Army to take total control of South Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975. Something that the biggest war machine this world has ever seen couldn’t do in ten years despite killing millions of people, dropping 8 million tons of bombs anf 70 million liters of Agent Orange.
All their lives until this day, they’re stuck in that mentality. They think if they chant those empty slogans often enough they will get the support they need to bully others here in the US, and surprisingly they did succeed. That proves one thing. There’re a lot of ignorant people in the US ‘ population too.
Do you protestors realize how ignorant it sound to utilize and accuse someone of being a communist in today’s world? It’s outdated and clearly demonstrates your lack of education.
The 1000 USC American Vietnamese students are correct to state that the Red flag with the star doesn’t represent them. It is because the red, white, and blue represents them in every federal, state, county, and city building.
You have no right to tell USC or anyone of that matter to fly what flag they want to. It is neither a privilege but a right that was given and fought for. If you protestors wanted to the old South Viet Nam flag to fly you should have stayed and fought. The North stayed and fought and they got what they wanted. The facts remains for the South that didn’t occur and we are here now in 2008. What else do you want more from the US? Do ou want us to wage another war against Vietnam?”........... .....Trich:
